Tex is another one of those good old fashioned country boys.  However, he is done being a “lone ranger.”  He arrived at the shelter as a stray because he is ready to find a special cowboy or cowgirl to ride through life with him.  You do not have to have a ranch though; any loving home will do for Tex.  Do you have space in your heart and home for Tex?!?

Tex is spirited and friendly with everyone he meets, including all people and most dogs.  This boy is a true joy of a dog – energetic, spunky, and playful.  He is busy learning proper leash manners and will be a pro in no time.  Tex is very attentive and watchful, but he still loves to curl up after a hard day of performing all his hound duties.  Sometimes all that ball chasing, investigating, and keeping squirrels out of your yard can be tiring work.  In short, Tex will make a great companion for any person.
